Actually I would say the opposite, that there is maybe too much contrast. Especially the blue of the water looks like it glows. However this is not a bad thing per se, maybe a bit too extreme.

What bothering with this one, is the lack of detail and the lack of interesting theme, even though you clearly have the skill , there is nothing in this picture that captures the eye.

Also I am not so sure about those blueish lines , I am not so sure what they represent.

I see that you seek a messy kind of style, which I like as well, I advice you to take a look at Guild Wars art.

i never painted mountains before, this was like a practice, because i wanna start my own conceptual peace with mountains in it, and i didn't knew how to paint them ^^;

i don't know why i added those blue lines, i just liked how they look. and yes, the water is glowing, also don't know why :o
this is just one big experiment, maybe i will use those glowing parts in other works.

and those concepts are amazing :wow: very good examples.

thank you, this work is kinda like a speed painting, took me only few hours.
not like the cave one, which took me few days :o
