I think that the painting is missing something, like a tiny warrior, going towards the castle. or a dragon, flying somewhere in the mist.. which one fits better? or maybe someone could suggest me what to paint in?
I think what fits better is any element you like to put in this work. The painting has a beatiful idea behind it and great basis to continue. You should make it more realistic. Perhaps a waterfall somewhere near that castle or something like that. Anyway, I don't think you finished it.
I know this is a year late, but I love this one. And as for what to add that isn't too generic; how about flags blowing in the wind along the slope or samurai with long flowing sleeves (a la House of Flying Daggers). The mist and fog shows nice motion, but colorful showing motion would stand out. It's hard to say with the scale of the image though. Anyway, fantastic.
I agree it would be nice to have some non conventional object in there, like power shield dome over the castle or construction crane in the mist or McDonalds at the feet of castle but let's try to come up with something the artist desires, not us as I see in the concept of painting, it's quite deserted place, as long as there's no roads, no bridge over the thin rock arc, no flags in castle. Or a dragon lives there, hence no roads well, if we added some sun rays, we could put a dragon that's napping in the warm spot let's say, he's comfied round that cliff in front of the casstle. Oh, we could add a bridle on him, that would be awesome so we would know that there's something more, than we can see as long as there's sunlight spots, we could add some faeries playing on the lawn nearby the castle. Or a unicorn, grazing. Well, if the place is really abandoned, we could add a skeleton of a dragon (over the same cliff, in front of the castle) or of a giant or troll, on that lawn. There could be a sword stuck in the skull and a man's skeleton nearby the sad end of the battle would add some to the mood of the picture and then it could be called like "neverknown hero" or something like that. Ok, that's enough of me, I hope it helps! Sekmes
hahahahahaha :*:*:*:*:*:* If so, you can some 'more yellowish green' in the lightend places, because of a light. IT's will be not yellow. Grass can just 'catch' some rays of these light (it's unidentified source of light). It can make your art richer in colour-spectrum. I think that making more objects can lead a piece of confusion in . But you know. For me, now it's the best xD.
Very serene, the misty look of some of your drawings make them look cold and moist, like a clear autumn morning How I would love to wake up in that castle, in a new life, to begin a journey all across the fantasy world you create...
i have some made by myself (thanks to your brush making tutorial at trf ) like for rocks or skin, also i made enough comfortable brushes for painting and i use them all the time but i also have loads of brushes that i have downloaded.
joa, as daug tapau. jei tik yra laisvo laiko tai galiu nuo ryto iki kito ryto prapaisyt. nuotrauku buna prireikia, as juk dar tik mokaus. bet po truputi bandau ispaisyt kanors ir be pagalbos, kaip sita darba [link] kuo toliau tuo lengviau daros
beje nuotraukos tik pagalbines, ideja pati sugalvoju
studijuoju menus kompu ir situos darbus paisau savarankiskai, visko ismokau pati, tokiu dalyku nedesto univere. taip pat jau bus antri metai kai paisau kompu, nors konceptualius darbus pradejau pries keleta menesiu.
