Daily Concept 1by ~velvetcat

I decided to create a concept every single day. Fast one or a detailed one, to improve my skills (:

This one is about 50% done, it has main colours and rough brush strokes, left side is extremely rough and unfinished ;D

There's no big story behind this concept, just a hidden place deep between the mountains, where cold solitude and darkness prevail. There stands four arches - the remains of something sacred (:

I think the lighting really defines this one .The comp is solid and the colors really fit the scenery well.The detail level on the right is already almost good enough in my opinion but defining the shapes of the rock formation would still be good because due to a quite high contrast the formation pops into the eye right after the main elements.Still beautiful job already overall :3

Hey Velvet nice to see you back. Dont worry about the left side thats enought of details if the man focus isnt there. Try to add more details to the door stuff, some small light and maybe the tree behind them should get some light on them ? , great work !

Actually, I started doing these concepts inspired by your works. Seeing how you improved gave me motivation to work on my own stuff
